ALEX (Aliosha) AMETOV

Acute lymphoblast leukemia

The photo in the Crimean newspaper appeared when Aliosha Ametov from Evpatoria was already finishing his therapy in Germany. This has been the first OFFITSIALLY RECKOGNIZED success by the Crimean hematology.
 

Now more than 10 years passed since the diagnosis has been made. In 1998 Alex finished high school. The same year, at the 1st of June, during the annual Ceremony of the Recovered Child, he was awarded diploma of "graduate" from our Department.

Now Alex is the head of family - he married.

He brought these photos to our department, as a gift to Valentin Usachenko.
